Graduated with a law degree from the St. Climent Ohridski University, Sofia, Bulgaria, obtained a Master's Degree (LL.M) in International Commercial Law from the Catholic University, Leuven, Belgium, and specialized International and Comparative Law at the Academy of International Law, Dallas, USA, EU Law at the Academy of European Law, Florence, Italy, and International Arbitration and International Financial Law at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, UK.

Arbitrator at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, Washington, DC, USA, and in the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague, Netherlands, as well as a member of the International Advisory Board of the Vienna International Arbitration Centre, the London Court of International Arbitration, the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and the European Law Institute, Vienna, Austria.

Specializes in international investment disputes, and domestic and international commercial disputes related to contracts in the fields of energy, construction, including FIDIC, banking and finance, and sale and merger of commercial companies.
